TopCoder... One hour... I'm not sure if I'm prepared enough to get first.

TopCoder is an online programming competition system, where the best programmers in the world compete for fame and money. I figured I'd try it out this Monday, but they were having a lot of technical troubles, so they ended up postponing it until Friday. Wednesday was my first actual competition, and I pulled third place for $25. Not bad, but not nearly as well as I wanted to do... Today is my second attempt. Hoo boy. *nervous shake*

On top of all of this... Next Thursday, the CS department is having a trial competition to pick teams to send to the ACM regionals in Lincoln, Nebraska. I think there's a very good chance I'll get on a team. If we whomp upon the region (another real possibility), I'll get to go to Hawaii. >:D Hoo boy. So much stress. Wish me luck!

48 hours from now, Mike and I will be watching Tori Amos. :D:D:D

39 more minutes... topcodertopcodertopcoder... *whew*
