(Ryan)
Yesterday I drove up to Cedar Rapids and visited Laura. :D I'm not really sure my words can do justice to the great time I had, but I think I'll try. ^_^
The goal was to get to Cedar Rapids (specifically the ice skating rink) about 1:30. In theory, this should have been easy. However, in order to get from 16th Avenue onto Rockford Road, I had to drive through an AutoZone parking lot and get on this unmarked back alley thing... and then the place we were meeting at wasn't marked at all, so I drove past it over and over again. Eventually I did the smart thing and stopped at a gas station to ask for directions.
I walked into the building at around 2:00, but it turns out Justin slept in, and they had just arrived too. Convenient. ^_^ Anyway, we skated for a while... It had been ages, and it was so much more fun this time around (I think holding hands with Laura might have had something to do with it ;). We didn't even fall down! Once!
Afterwards, we went out to Chili's with Justin and Cassie. Very interesting conversation. I like Laura's friends (so far). Vegetable quesadillas are good too. ^__^
Justin and Cassie headed back home at this point, so Laura and I went to watch Harry Potter. Well, "watch" anyway. The guy behind us kicked our chairs several times... oops. ^^
After that, we went to the mall. I, uhhh, don't really know what to write. We walked around, looked at things, did whatever people do in malls. And enjoyed being together, of course. :)

I think that you did a pretty good job summing that up, Chad. I especially like the uh, censored part at the end ;-). sighs I had so much fun on Saturday, and I SO didn't want the night to end. Next time we gotta remember to get the time I have to be home right though, rather than a half hour early, so we can spend more time together. Anyway, hugs thank you for driving up here and spending the day with me, sweetie. I'm going to link my journal to here too, and have people leave comments for both of us, ok?
Your Angel, Laura
Aww...you two sound so happy together. Frankly, I'm envious. hehe :)
And Chili's makes the [HTML_REMOVED]best[HTML_REMOVED] quesadillas! Nobody else comes even close. They also make the best cheesecake I've ever had (I'm eating some right now, lol), and I should know: I'm a bit of a cheesecake connoisseur. Incidentally, Chili's is my favorite restaurant.
Best of luck to the both of you!
hugs Shawn
What's this? censored? Jeez, I'm not even going to ask!
Oh? I see that you now have my IP address...hmmm...scared...
