Laura's back from Omaha! Yay! I started playing Devil May Cry. AWESOME game! The new Bad Religion album is seriously incredible. I finished reading 1984. Great book. Making libraries in C and C++ is getting old. I've started encoding all of my CDs in a lossless format: FLAC. I couldn't decide on a good bitrate (or quality coefficient, or whatever they call it now) to encode things into Ogg Vorbis with, so I finally said "screw it, I'll just store them on my hard drive without any loss in quality." Hard drives are big enough and CDs are small enough nowadays to pretty easily manage this. 400 MB per CD (that's about how much FLAC compresses) isn't bad at all.
