I am a Chaotic Neutral Rock of Stability
I spent the weekend with Laura. On Saturday, we visited MyNameIsJeff (from #sphere) who just moved to western Omaha. We went to lunch at Panera, went shopping a little, played Dance Dance Revolution (I can't believe I had the guts to play in public! I suck so much!) and air hockey at an arcade. I enjoyed the day, and I hope Jeff did too.
On the drive home I listened to PRN (Performance Racing Network) and their broadcast of today's race in Las Vegas. I think I really like NASCAR now. :o I was truly impressed by the quality of the broadcast and the integrity of fans and athletes alike. I don't think I've heard such politeness and intelligent commentary with any other sport. I guess there is a very good chance I'm still a southerner at heart. I even listened to some country on the way to Omaha. :o
At least I'm not a coal girl like Laura! (Though she's still supah cute! :D)
I hate to admit it, but Dance Dance Revolution is kinda fun.
I, too, have played it in public once. I also suck at it - it's a lot harder than it looks -- and it already looks hard!
I've even got some practice under my belt! My brother and some of his friends got together once and played DDR until the wee hours of the morning. It's amazing to see some of these people go... I can't imagine having such eye-foot coordination! There was a guy at the arcade who had a 400-some move combo. He got a perfect on nearly every move. Very impressive...
I am no coal girl! (if you are going to slam me...at least use the correct thing...STEEL) However I am supah cute!! ;)
BTW, thanks for hoping that I had a good time yesterday... :P
Also, yes, you are still a hick from Alabama...and you always will be ;)
Don't let him fool you...he's not really that bad at it...
THE SOUTH WILL RISE AGAIN
I can attest to the supah cute part.
And then we'll stomp all you good 'ole boys into the mud just like we(not me personally, you understand, but Northerners in general from the Civil War era) did in the 1860s!
