Linkin Park's new album, Meteora, is actually quite enjoyable. It's a lot like Hybrid Theory, but a few songs really stand out to me. (Numb, Breaking the Habit, and Faint) Frankly, the new single doesn't impress me, but the rest of the album is a good listen. My only is the length and quantity of the songs. 36 minutes? That's almost as bad as Bad Religion! We'll see how long it'll last. I haven't really fallen in love with a group for some time... The last GREAT band I've listened to has been VNV Nation. Before that was Bad Religion. Of course I've found several minor obsessions, like Howie Day, MxPx, Millencolin, Bush, Incubus... Hopefully another Big One will appear in the next couple years. Back to proving running times of geometric algorithms...
