The Big Brain Cafe tonight at Brunnier went really well. :) In fact, only a few gamedev people were there. (Two of the other officers are currently at the GDC.) I gave a brief talk about my history making games, how the club got started, how the club and the VRAC joined together... Then I took them in and showed them Midworld. (The installation worked. :D) Some of the younger kids in the audience had some really pointed questions, such as "What do you game developers do when you have a disagreement?" After they saw Midworld, several kids raised their hands and one asked "Can I play too?" They even beat it, which Levi couldn't do. :) After that, they asked "Are there more levels?" I wish could say there were. ^_^ All in all, it was a pleasurable evening. Levi and I took several people back to the C6 and introduced them to the VRAC and virtual reality in general. It was a lot of fun.
