Viva la Musica!
Heh. Everybody is falling in love with Evanescence. They're the next Linkin Park. They even sound like Linkin Park. =] I'd like them more if my rips weren't so DRMified. Who cares about intellectual property anyway? Bits, breasts, and beer should be free! ;)
On the other hand, I think Ministry of Sound is my new nifty listening dig. I also went and snagged some stuff I've never listened to: Antiloop, Astralwerks, Coldcut, John Digweed, the Rez Soundtrack (:D:D:D), Signaldrift, and trance[]control.
Also, George W. is teh suk. Canada's looking better and better every day.
THEY SOUND LIKE LINKIN PARK? Hurk.
At least we can agree on foreign policy. :D
God, is every #sphere regular a left-leaner now? It's a damn good thing that 90% of you don't vote anyway.
evanescence is a classic example of corporate rock. the difference is talent.
plus... that amy chick can sing. :)
i was listening to those kids way back on mp3.com before "bring it to me." puh-leeze.
canada, the frozen northern wasteland. you'd fit right in. ;)
dubya. ugh.
By the way, Astralwerks? It's a label, not a band. [HTML_REMOVED]Check check it, yo.[HTML_REMOVED] Discover all kinds of neato music there. Now ignore the music geek behind the curtain, please. ^_^
There are plenty more directions than left and right, and that philosophy also governs how we handle our views, which isn't always the same.
I'd say that everyone in #sphere is a born lazy rebel!
Thanks for correcting my ignorance! I've never seen MP3s arranged by label before!
I agree! (To both statements.) I don't really consider myself left as much as I think I have more common sense than GWB. :) Yeah, let's stop war with war!
Someone sent me some MP3s of them and I absolutely loved her vocals. So I bought the CD. :)
Funny you talk about Evanescence now... everyone on my friends list is starting to post about them, and on my way to a friend's party last night, the guy driving had the Evanescence CD playing. They're really good!
I lean more right, but Bush doesn't define my views. The Republican Party USED to be the party of non-intervention.
Anyway, plenty of Iraqis will be dead and you'll have something to watch on CNN for a few weeks. :D
War in Iraq...that does sound like a new reality show.
The gimmick is that Joe "Dictator" isn't -really- planning on going agaist our freedoms!
Haha, it'll be fun to see the faces of the men dying in the hot sand when they figure that out!
