Fondue
I'm at Laura's right now, and she made us and her two roommates cheese fondue for dinner. For dipping, we had fries, tater tots, broccoli, apples, and french bread. My first real time having fondue, and it was pretty good.
In other news, I got a new keyboard: the Microsoft natural keyboard. Typing on it feels really good. Even better than my Dvortyboard, in fact. Originally I got it so I could keep an extra keyboard at work, but it's found a home on basilisk. I think I'll get another for work. :) This keyboard is spreading... I have one (soon two), Mike has one, Laura has one, my sister has one, and there are at least five at work (replacing those horrible Dell keyboards is always a good thing. those things give me pain after 15 minutes of use.)
The only disadvantages are that the arrow keys and the insert/home/delete/etc. block are totally jacked up. Oh well. The reduced hand stress is worth it. :)
I have the Microsoft Natural Keyboard too ^__^ I have it for ~4-5 years and it still rules!
I used to have a natural keyboard but HATED it with a passion. The keys were too difficult to press, and the keyboard was rediculously loud... Anyway, if you're getting pain from typing, I greatly suggest streaching your fingers out every so often (bending them backwards with an open wrist.) This will streach out the tendons and greatly reduce repeated stress injuries. I thought I was going to be screwed because I both live on a computer and play the piano, but apparently, the nimbleness acquired by playing the piano has put me in a place where I probably won't get carpel tunnel or anything else.
