Annual Japanese Run
Today Laura and I, along with ISU's Anime Club, went to Taki's Japanese Steakhouse in Des Moines for sushi. We got shrimp, freshwater eel, salmon, salmon rolls, tuna, and red snapper, along with two orders of california rolls. For appetizers we had miso soup, vegetable tempura, and Age-Gyoza, which are similar to potstickers. Laura even ate some of the fish sushi, which I was somewhat surprised by. :) The eel was especially good.
Sushi is so great! Costs a fair amount, but it tastes so good and you feel oddly satiated when you're done. It's not the "Urrrgggg...." feeling after eating a large pizza. It's more like "Mmmmmm... satisfied." And your head is so clear.
Tasty.
sushi is by far my favorite food. and eel is my favorite amongst the sushi. miso soup..mmmmmmmm, sushi..mmmmmmmm
Aha this is why those chinese dudes are so smart - the food is keeping their minds clear! :o
You went to the Anime Club XD!
Sushi is great, I love Unagi bowl. EEL MMM YUMMY.
My brother and his girlfriend started this anime club. :) Plus I have discovered sushi is the best food ever. :D
Which club is this? There were two last I heard...
I think it's just ISU Anime Club... the other one is Anime Appreciation Club, maybe?
Don't have a club in and around KC that I know of. Not in school anymore and also married, so don't have the time for it anyway. We did just get The Anime Network through OnDemand with Time Warner Cable, and I have placed a request to pick it up as a 24/7 digital channel.
