This is TWICE now. I like Courier IMAP, except that its default configuration DELETES MAIL THAT IS OVER SEVEN DAYS OLD. WHO DECIDED DATALOSS WAS GOOD DEFAULT BEHAVIOR???

I've used courier on a number of occaisions because it's easier to set up than any other IMAP server for Debian, but I've never seen this behavior. I've left mail in there for months without it being deleted. Maybe Debian fixed this behavior?

Yeah, maybe Debian actually has a sensible default configuration for that parameter.
