My Dvorak keyboard came today. Time to start learning Dvorak like the rest of #sphere. ^_^
Update: It isn't that hard to learn! After less than a day, I can type without looking, and even pretty quickly! I can already tell that this layout is good: my fingers rarely leave home row.
I haven't learned it. Probably never will. Hehe... too used to the old style.
s/Mt/My/ ??
I don't think I'll ever get a Dvorak for the simple reason that switching back and forth from Dvorak to Qwerty would just get too crazy. The only place I'd use it would be home since they don't let us use our own equipment on the computers at work. [It's getting ridiculous what they're starting to restrict up here. No streaming music/video, no peer-to-peer software, no personal hardware, etc.]
Otherwise, I think it'd be rad to get a Dvorak. :-)
Good luck learning Dvorak, baby!
Find a new job and then try it. :) It's taken less than a day to get used to... I just type really slowly!
Which one did you get?
you can easily configure any windows running computer to think it has a dvorak keyboard (rebind keys). Settings -> control panel -> keyboard -> language -> add... English (US) dvorak or something like that
I may rearrange one of my spare keyboards to dvorak if I'm in a masochistic mood.

Was it worth it? I have the money to waste--just don't know if I want to spend $90 on a keyboard.
I think it was. I didn't really want to swap keys around on my keyboard. I needed a new one anyway. The old one was really dirty.
I almost hit myself in the eye several times while swapping the keys around on one of my keyboards.
